Sammamish Farms is an intensive market garden of three acres between Woodinville, Redmond, and Kirkland Washington. We deliver vegetables and other produce twelve months per year, with a CSA program that runs weekly for about seven months per year. We can be found at local farmers markets, in online retailers, and on the farm during our peak season April thru October. Our team is a diverse group that enjoy working outdoors with delicious food and great community.

We’re looking for team members for 2024

  • CSA manager

    Bring your garden and customer experience to this position managing our CSA program. Grow a request-based small scale garden for our intimate group of CSA customers. The CSA manager is a position for someone with more than one year of diversified vegetable production with a high level of organization and time management skills. Our CSA requires some computer work each week in addition to harvesting and packing custom orders. Full time, weekdays. $20+/hr

  • Events and marketing specialist

    We’re anchor vendors at the Woodinville Farmer’s Market and seeking a team member with great customer service skills to lead our farmer’s market and join our CSA distribution team in May 2024. If you have a knack for cooking with vegetables and working with customers, this is a great place to start a career in local farming. Use your marketing skills to promote our CSA and provide outreach with local chefs and commercial kitchens. Part time with seasonal opportunity to grow into a full-time role $18+/hr DOE

  • Crop specialist

    Do you aspire to start your own farm one day? Could you take on the responsibility of cultivating one or more crops for our production? Crop specialists work flexible hours focused on a narrow selection of crops. Love lettuce, carrots, beets, tomatoes or legumes? Become an expert in the field for one or more of our primary veggies. Crop specialists work under supervision or independently and deliver a complete and quality product to our marketing and CSA team for packing in distribution. This position has flexible hours from part time to full time, pay $17-22/hr DOE.

All new hires receive evaluations after two months of employment and wage increases to reflect their performance including mastery of trained skills, reliability, and attention to detail.

Interested in our internship program?

We offer educational internships each summer season for students to learn best practices, techniques, and develop skills in the garden. We read a variety of books on market garden life and discuss them weekly as a group. Each intern receives a stipend for their contributions to the farm enterprise, and additional educational exposure and opportunity developing skills and expertise with our growers and marketers.
