Arugula

Arugula, also known as Roquette (Rocket), is the tender-leafed brassica with a spicy kick common as a salad and sandwich green. Our Arugula is grown from saved seed and available in the cool seasons. You’ll find arugula as baby leaves and as bunches through the season, and in late spring we will harvest the arugula raab as a garnish for salads or especially good on baked fish. Arugula can be added as a salad green with other greens or stand on its own with a variety of dressings and toppings. Try these favorite recipes from our CSA and familiarize yourself with arugula.

Arugula is always directly sewn in our gardens from March thru April and in the autumn in September and October. It over-winters outside to produce raab in the spring and early summer. We harvest seeds in July and August.
